ALogistics Operatorfollows all directions from the Shift Lead and the Plant Manager in making planned quantities of Biodiesel. The primary function is the processing of Methanol and Glycerin and truck and railcar unloading/loading Responsibilities: Unload and sample trucks and rail cars as needed. Pull samples throughout the plant. Maintain correct tank levels and transfer material as appropriate. Wear all PPE required for the job and comply with all company policies and procedures. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Attend required training as scheduled. Work cooperatively with others. Work overtime and scheduled hours as assigned. Work in cold/hot/dusty/loud environment. Other duties as assigned by Plant Management or Shift Lead. Qualifications: Excellent time-management skills. Must be able to efficiently manage work and multi-task. Able to make routine decisions within a predetermined span of authority and follow the established chain of command. Able to exercise independent judgment prior to consultation with the supervisor. Must have a hands-on approach, positive ‘can do’ attitude. and strong work ethic. Maintenance Tech

Rio Valley Biofuels is in need of a Maintenance Technician! A Maintenance Technician’s role is to assist and maintain the physical integrity of the facility. In addition, will carry out assigned duties in a safe manner and other duties as requested by management. Responsibilities: Provide maintenance support to plant equipment such as: product flow pump, liquid and air pumping, seal replacement of liquid pumps, repair diaphragm pumps, mechanical and fluid flow. Troubleshoot, remove and install pumps. Handles all maintenance of forklifts and power washers. Conducts all maintenance of the production facilities, all equipment supporting production and material handling. Provide inputs as required to the Maintenance Manager for equipment repair, replacement and spare parts. Perform maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Manager ensuring proper maintenance and safety, on all appropriate equipment in the facility. Able to diagnose problems with machinery: able to test and make adjustments. Follow company’s policies and safety procedures. Other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Manager of Maintenance. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Ability to perform a variety of maintenance duties and multi-task. Ability to work in a team and be ‘hands on’. Must be self-motivated and a self-starter. Other duties may be assigned. Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Two years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. General construction, plumbing, electrical experience, and mechanical repair. Skills: Perform tasks/projects in a timely manner. Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the facility. Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked. Rio Valley Biofuels is in need of an Electrician! An Electrician uses a working knowledge of electrical systems to conduct maintenance, fault-finding, and diagnostics on existing systems. Installs new electrical systems, including lighting and heating, to customer standards and to maintain those systems while upholding safety guidelines. Responsibilities: Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes. Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system. Maintain current electrician’s license or identification card to meet governmental regulations. Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes. Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Use a variety of tools and equipment such as power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment including oscilloscopes ammeters, and test lamps. Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools. Work from ladders, scaffolds, and roofs to install, maintain or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Provide preliminary sketches and cost estimates for materials and services. Create electrical bills of material reports for project and repair work. Other duties may be assigned by management. Qualifications: 4+ years experience in the electrical trade (Journeyman or greater). Must be proficient in the English language (speak, read, write). High degree of attention to detail. Demonstrable knowledge and skills for electrical installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. The Groundskeeper is responsible for the cleanliness, upkeep, and maintenance of the facility including buildings, grounds, and parking areas to meet company and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities: Works with grounds crew members in the general care of all assigned properties. This includes, but is not limited to: pressure washing, mowing, weeding, planting flowers, watering, garbage pickup, and painting.  Must be able to drive company truck/trailer and haul our pressure washer and push and pull 100 pounds of machinery.  A professional and courteous manner and an ability to work harmoniously with other employees.  Follow agency personnel and safety procedures.  Cleans grounds and removes litter.  Responsible for daily upkeep of the property buildings and grounds which includes cleaning and removing of trash.  Be aware of andoperate within OSHA (Occupational Safety & Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all times.  Responsible for thorough knowledge of company policy and procedures.  Performs mowing, trimming, and edging when required.  Accepts and performs other work as assigned by the supervisor.  Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.  Cleans internal areas of buildings, including sweeping and mopping.  Maintains cleanliness of public areas, storage areas, and parking lot.  Empties trash cans and maintains containers to ensure regulatory compliance. Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.   Followcompany’s policiesandsafety procedures. Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Works cooperatively with others. Other duties as assigned bymanagement. Skills: Safely use mowers, weed cutting, pressure washers, and varioushandheldtools.  Ability to safely operate industrial equipment (forklift, hi-lo, truck, etc.)  Demonstrated problem-solving capability.  Qualifications: Experience and or vocational training in performing similar duties.  Organizing, verifying and routing of required documentation when necessary.
