Job Summary
The Application Administrator will be responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and stability of specific COTS (“Commercial-Off-The-Shelf") applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide second-level support for application-related issues, including troubleshooting, triage, and resolution of incidents.
- Monitor application performance and respond to alerts or notifications.
- Coordinate with technical support, server administrators, network administrators, and others as necessary to resolve issues.
- Create and maintain internal documentation and knowledge base articles.
- Conduct technician training sessions for applications, new features, or updates.
- Investigate and diagnose problems, identify root causes, and propose solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for application processes, procedures, and performance.
- Implement automation and scripting for routine tasks to improve efficiency.
- Perform routine updates and patches under supervision.
- Document processes and procedures related to application management.
- Assist in testing and deploying new applications or upgrades.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in IT related field or relevant work experience (Preferred).
- Two (2) years of relevant experience (Preferred). An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.
- Basic certifications (Preferred) - A+.
- Experience with RingCentral a plus.
Preferred location El Paso TX or Las Cruces NNM, Remote considered as well.
