The Wash Bay Attendant is responsible for assisting with the cleaning and detailing of company equipment while ensuring wash bay operations are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards. 

Responsibilities:

• Guide drivers through the wash bay process and ensure compliance with wash bay safety procedures, including awareness of beacon lights 

• Lead the driver to the first sprayer degreaser. 

• Perform detail engine wash bay. 

• Operate and assist with the multi-step truck wash process, including rinsing, brushing, and final rinse procedures. 

• Clean and detail truck components such as hoods, windshields, grills, and trailer doors to maintain company appearance standards. 

• Perform hand washing and touch-up cleaning on areas requiring additional attention. 

• Maintain wash bay area clean, organized, and safe for daily operations. 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.  

• Related experience preferred. 

• Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment.  

• Ability to follow safety procedures and operational instructions. 

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards. 

• Ability to work independently and within a team setting. 

• Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.  

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools. 

Physical Demands:

• While performing the duties of this position, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. 

• The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. 

• Prolonged periods of standing.  

• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. 

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include depth perception. 

Work Environment  

• Indoor and Outdoor environment. 

• Employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions including direct sunlight & heat. 

• Employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, extreme cold and extreme heat. 

• employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock. 

• The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to high.
