The Account Manager II is responsible for managing the daily operations and maintaining positive relationships with assigned customers. This involves effectively communicating with customers, understanding their needs and concerns, and addressing any issues that may arise. The Account Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients and works closely with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products or services. 

Responsibilities:

• Provides and communicates accurate information to the customer internally and externally to maintain a high-level service. 
• Excels at growing business with their customers and provides a solution for every problem. 
• Research and requests scorecards from their customers. If customers’ expectations are not met, a corrective action plan must be sent within 48hrs after is received. 
• Ensures effective communication with designated order entry team members. This includes providing clear instructions, sharing relevant information, and promptly addressing any questions or concerns that may arise. 
• Ensures other Account Managers know how to book their own loads when assigned order entry team members are not available for booking. 
• Ensures order entry team members assigned are on all new on-boarding calls to ensure all relevant information that pertains to OE is provided to start the booking SOP. 
• Accurately tracks and traces loads and uses all tolls provided with MSLV; and escalates any issues to their manager if necessary. 

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. 
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite or related software. 
• Basic knowledge and understanding of motor carrier operations and geography. 
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.  
• Excellent attention to detail. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.  
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
