Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to lead the development and optimization of our data infrastructure. This role will focus on architecting large-scale data solutions, driving innovation within the data team, and ensuring that all data processes align with the company's strategic objectives. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be a technical leader, working closely with stakeholders to create efficient, reliable, and scalable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and lead the design of large-scale, complex data pipelines and workflows that support business-critical applications.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of data engineering projects, from gathering requirements to deployment and monitoring in production.
• Lead the design and management of data warehouses, data lakes, and other cloud-based storage solutions.
• Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability, ensuring minimal downtime and data quality issues.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for data engineering projects, collaborating with stakeholders across departments to deliver data solutions that meet business objectives.
• Drive the adoption of best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
• Mentor and coach Level I and II data engineers, fostering professional development and ensuring alignment with technical standards.
• Research and implement new data technologies and approaches, continuously improving the organization’s data capabilities.
• Provide strategic input on data infrastructure and tools, aligning with emerging trends and company goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in data engineering, with expertise in architecting and implementing large-scale data solutions.
• Extensive knowledge of SQL, ETL processes, and cloud-based data infrastructure (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and big data technologies.
• Strong proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, PySpark, KQL)
• Proven experience in leading data engineering teams and managing complex projects.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to stay current with emerging data technologies and trends.

  • DP-700 (Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate)
