The Windshield Technician will primarily be responsible for the repair and replacement of windshields and glass components on commercial vehicles, including trucks, buses, vans, and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate has experience working with large vehicle glass, demonstrates excellent craftsmanship, and is committed to safety and quality service.

Responsibilities:

• Remove, repair, and replace windshields and other auto glass components on a variety of commercial vehicles.
• Perform pre-inspection and post-installation checks to ensure proper fit and seal.
• Use adhesives, hand tools, and power tools to install glass securely and in compliance with industry standards.
• Handle customer vehicles with care, maintaining a clean work area.
• Diagnose issues such as cracks, chips, and seal failures, and recommend appropriate repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and customer information.
• Comply with all company safety protocols and utilizes all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers regarding repair timelines and procedures.
• Complies with all laws and regulations pertaining to paint, thinners, and other hazardous materials.

Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of all aspects of windshield repairs for vehicles.
• Ability to read and follow instructions on windshield repairs.
• 1 year of previous experience (required). Commercial vehicle work (Preferred).
• Valid State Driver's License and ability to maintain insurability standards. 
• Flexible schedule – must be available to work some Saturdays.
• Ability to climb ladders, move around frequently, and lift up to 50 pounds.
