The Human Resources Reporting Specialist is responsible for ensuring data integrity, system functionality, and alignment with the business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Leverages Power BI and Excel to design and maintain automated, real-time HR analytics dashboards and reports that track key workforce metrics and deliver actionable insights aligned with Human Resources business objectives.
- Demonstrates deep understanding of core HR systems with the ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data or integration issues.
- Conduct audits to verify the accuracy of employee data and ensure adherence to payroll and HR processes.
- Works collaboratively across HR, IT, and other departments to identify and support business needs and strategic initiatives.
- Assists Human Resources Director and Management on employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
- Manage New Employee Onboarding, including preparing documentation and ensuring the completion of all necessary paperwork.
- Enter new employees hired into payroll and other related systems and report to the corresponding agencies.
- Maintain and update records for employee transfers, pay changes, disciplinary actions, and any other employment matters.
- Address employee complaints and work with HR Business Partner or HR Director to bring to resolution.
- Process terminations in all systems and report to corresponding agencies.
- Respond to employment verifications and employee questions in a professional and timely manner.
- Participates in departmental meetings and contributes to discussions with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state regulations.
- Collaborates with team members to enhance employee engagement.
- Perform clerical tasks as needed, such as photocopying, scanning, mailing, and emailing.
- Answer and route incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
- Update and enter data to maintain accurate records in computer systems.
- Maintain the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, HR Information Systems, or related field (Preferred).
- 2-3 years of human resources support experience strongly preferred. A combination of education and relevant experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered.
- Strong functional experience in Microsoft Excel, including experience with reporting, formulas, and functions (Required).
- Strong functional experience with PowerBI (Desktop) or similar analytics visualization/reporting tools (Required). Previous experience with automating processes preferred.
- SQL experience is a plus.
- Strong functional experience with human resource information systems (HRIS) is preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
