The Quality Control Coordinator is responsible for inspecting and preparing the truck to ensure the driver can operate safely on the road.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a final inspection on the truck to ensure the truck is in good condition, operates safely, and adheres to DOT regulations.
- Wipes and dust truck interior if needed.
- Ensure truck license plates, inspection stickers, permit books, and all other forms are placed properly on the truck.
- Ensure trucks are relocated to the appropriate locations in the yard including units in the 30-minute lane and local lane.
- Respond to driver questions and concerns regarding tractor, yard, and DOT tractor standards.
- Report daily truck number count to Equipment Control Coordinator.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (Required).
- Ability to operate a tractor and have a CDL Class A Commercial Driver's License (Preferred).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
- Ability to complete assigned tasks in a timely manner.
