We distribute biodiesel as well as diesel fuels and gasoline in Texas, New Mexico, and the surrounding states. Our feedstocks include a large variety of lipid oil sources including used cooking oil, crude cottonseed, tallow, sunflower, canola, soy, and a number of others.

An Operations Manager continuously monitors and mentors the Operations Department and provides support with problem solving, resolution. Implements innovative workflow solutions to develop alternative cost-saving measures. Along with, ensuring company goals are met and successfully leading complex cross-team projects.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Weekends & Evenings must be worked on site if needed.)

  • Lead daily operations. 
  • Lead team of Salaried and Frontline employees. 
  • Responsible for people and team development, quality performance, cost, service, and safety. 
  • Develop individuals and the team to solve operational issues. 
  • Motivate the team to achieve performance targets. 
  • Coach team to facilitate problem-solving. 
  • Develop team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- & long-term performance goals. 
  • Communicate cross-functionally to assist the team to solve operational issues. 
  • Motivate the team to achieve plan goals. 
  • Direct preventative maintenance program compliance and approve internal and external vendor-supported repairs. 
  • Manage support staff responsible for driver dispatch, computerized tracking of driver logs, and other administrative functions as required. 
  • Administer policies and practices, Initiate, and implement projects. 
  • Conduct presentations and formal training programs Improve team communication and engagement. 
  • Think quickly, creatively and challenge the team to do the same. 
  • Creates weekly and monthly summary reports used to measure departmental performance.
  • Oversees daily Operations activities and provides a daily update to COO and Director of Operations. 
  • Enforces company policies and procedures participate in Operation performance reviews and development. 
  • Assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding, and disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems. 
  • After-hour availability, weekend availability, and extended shift work.
  • Attend periodic RVBT meetings and training sessions.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelor’s Degree from a four—year college or university and/or equivalent combination of education and experience in the Transportation Industry.
  • Degree preferred in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related major. 
  • Ability to effectively support a dynamic time-sensitive organization operating 24 hours a day, 7 days per week. 
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. 
  • Proven management and leadership skills. 
  • Must pass a drug screen and background investigation. 
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) (Preferred).
