The Shop Technician completes hands-on tasks for the MVT team including product installations, modifications, development, and fuel economy testing.

Responsibilities:

• Works with the MVT team to Install test products such as aerodynamic components, wheels, tires, lubricants, fuel, and oil additives.
• Notifies management of any additional repairs needed.
• Notifies management of any difficulties or problems that may prevent a quality job from being performed or cause a change in the promised time.
• Maintains tools and equipment in a proper state of repair.
• Supervises the work of any apprentice technicians/interns as assigned.
• Must have a CDL. 

Physical Demands:

• Use their hands to handle, control, and work with hand tools and/or power tools.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Bend or twist their body.
• Repeat the same movements.
• Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.
• Lifting of heavy objects.
