An Associate Manger is responsible for providing "hands-on" overall leadership, training, safety guidance, motivation, and direction to store teammates to ensure operational objectives, store financial performance, and guest service meets or exceeds company goals, while ensuring an energetic and fun working environment for all team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provides customers with knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt service at all times, while being sensitive to their needs.
  • Empower customers with product knowledge.
  • Assist with inventory management.
  • Procedural training and guidance for Tire Service Technicians. Ensure all tech certifications are current.
  • Training and supervision of dispatcher’s and fill in as needed.
  • Assigns work schedules and specific work duties. Assist in resolution of employee grievances and discipline.
  • Assisting in the sale and delivery of quality products to customers who call us or come into our stores.
  • Assists with receiving and processing shipments.
  • Performing scheduled maintenance, cleaning, organizing, and improving – assist in providing a safe, comfortable, and quality experience for our customers and a safe, comfortable workplace for our teammates.
  • Assisting the store manager with leadership responsibilities to assure a safe, respectful, and productive team.
  • Responsible for helping store achieve goals.
  • Monitors technicians' daily productivity reports and corresponding payroll records.
  • Facility and grounds maintenance (cleaning and organizing building, shop, warehouse, etc.)
  • Supports and promotes operational compliance scores for company audits (Operational and Safety). Supervise Exception and FAM reporting.
  • Supports and promotes Commercial Tire Safety standards and in shop vehicle inspection process.
  • Assist Center Manager as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Some sales and mechanical ability.
  • Showcases initiative, professional attitude and appearance.
  • Achieves highest level of customer satisfaction.
  • Flexible with job responsibilities and willing to help in multiple departments as needed.
  • 2 years of previous experience in Tire Service industry.
  • Team mindset - Will seek to help, learn, and improve wherever needed to help the business.
  • Must maintain knowledge in all facets of store operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
