The Human Resources (HR) Business Partner is a professional who will coordinate, develop, and manage the implementation of policies and procedures regarding the talent management, disciplinary action, and organizational culture of employees for RVB and RVBT. This role oversees the maintenance of employee records, onboarding processing, and assists as needed in providing administrative support. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provides employees and managers with an available first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR policies and practices.
  • Oversee bi-weekly time and attendance processing and communicate this data to local leadership for accurate compensation.
  • Delegate responsibilities to additional HR representatives as needed.
  • Review all employee disciplinary situations, working with management to ensure fair and appropriate action is being taken. Make recommendations as needed.
  • Responsible for efficient operation of all HR administrative processes.
  • Review all voluntary resignations, handle exit interviews, track/analyze exit interview data, and work with management as needed to respond to trends in exit data.
  • Review all performance reviews, provide coaching and feedback to management as needed, and track overdue reviews.
  • Support all human capital and safety efforts while ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Participate in employee investigations, terminations, and resolve employee questions and concerns as a trusted and credible partner.
  • Assist with all HR processes including administration of compensation, benefits, performance management, verification of employment, employee selection or promotion, and pre-employment.
  • Ability to maintain all sensitive information confidential.
  • Issue KPI’s, follow and build action plans according to KPIs to improve results on these indictors
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Employee Relations, Organizational Development/Management, or a corresponding degree in an HR related discipline; required. Graduate degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with Human Resources responsibilities, including employee relations, management/employee conflict resolution and coaching, employment law, and related investigations.
  • Proficient communicator in English language, (Spanish a plus).
  • Must be able to manage conflicting priorities, follow up on assignments, and act proactively based on the information received from employees.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
  • Excellent presentation, time management, and analytical skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to assess current situations, recognize anomalies or issues, and recommend innovate solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
