The Terminal Manager is responsible for effectively directing and managing a specified terminal location and the delegated local representatives. 

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise all terminal personnel and issues. 
  • Complies with instructions and acts as directed by upper management. 
  • Identifies and resolves issues/tasks in a timely manner. 
  • Recognized by team, peers, and management as a key supporter. 
  • Plan, implement, and oversee the work of staff members to ensure efficiency and compliance with organizational requirements and company procedures. 
  • Consults with appropriate management to determine appropriate actions for problematic issues. 
  • Conduct ongoing audits, meet with individual staff members, direct other work activities designed to promote work safety, and encourage continuing education among staff members. 
  • Ensure staff members fully and consistently comply with company rules, administrative procedures, and policies. 
  • Collaborate with staff members and fellow managers to create, modify, and implement goals, procedures, policies, and objectives when the opportunity presents itself. 
  • Arranges equipment to be available when needed.
  • Coordinate special projects assigned. 
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite. 
  • Experience in management, operation, and leadership. 
  • Experienced at successfully leading complex, cross-team projects. 
  • Excellent written and communication skills. 
  • Excellent organizational skills.
