MVT Solutions was formed in 2016 as a partnership between Mesilla Valley Transportation (MVT) and InnoMetric MPG. Prior to being introduced to InnoMetric MPG testing methods in 2012, MVT tried all available tests in an attempt to find fuel savings.

Through InnoMetric MPG testing, MVT found savings of $3,000,000 dollars in just the first year alone. After several years of working together, they decided to partner and combine their unique fleet experience and 21st-century testing methodology to offer to test and consulting services to the entire trucking industry.

Come join our team!!! MVTS is in need of a Shop Technician in Las Cruces, NM! 

The Shop Technician completes hands-on tasks for the MVTS team including product installations, modifications, development, and fuel economy testing.

Responsibilities:

• Works with the MVTS team to Install test products such as aerodynamic components, wheels, tires, lubricants, fuel, and oil additives.
• Travel to our test facility periodically throughout the year. 2-5 days per trip (extra compensation for travel expenses).
• Road test vehicles when required.
• Supervises work of any apprentice technicians/interns as assigned.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Physical Demands:

• Use their hands to handle, control, and work with hand tools and/or power tools.
• Stand for long periods of time.
• Bend or twist their body.
• Repeat the same movements.
• Kneel, stoop, crouch, or crawl.
• Lifting of heavy objects.
